Horseback Riding or Hike + Wine tasting

BCNC invites you to an easy afternoon on amazing trails either on a horse or simply hiking. You will enjoy the views over the entire valley and as far as San Francisco. Winding trails with the horse will make this adventure one of the best time you can spend on this estate of 150 acres of vineyards and stables. 

In parallel, the hikers will take a different route but quite enjoyable as well. And at the end, riders and hikers will meet on the outdoor patio to share stories and enjoy a wine tasting at the Garrod Estate. Their friendly staff will make your experience memorable. 

So join us for this Belgian Club event at the beautiful Garrod Farms on the hills above Saratoga! Location: 22645 Garrod Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070.

All Riders and Hikers will gather at the Garrod Farms on Sunday Sept 22 at 1:15 pm. Note that the road to get to the meeting point is quite winding...so plan on extra time to get there. Riders will be asked to sign a waiver and get some instructions prior to leaving for the approximately 1 hour ride. After the ride/hike, we'll meet at 3:00 pm on the outside patio for a wine tasting and cheese/cracker snacks. Each participant will be responsible for their order of drink and food. 

• "Wine flight" samplers range from $22 to $35 per person; samplers are free with the purchase 2 bottles of wine. 
• Non-alcoholic beverages or individual wine glasses are also available. 
• Snacks available consist of a selection of cheese and various crackers, including gluten-free crackers, usually adding up to about $15 per person.

Registrations need to be received no later than September 16th! 

Horseback riders must be:

• Over 8 years of age
• Weigh less than 225 lbs/102 kg
• Be taller than 42 inches / 107cm

Horseback Riding Clothing Requirements:

• Long pants
• Closed flat shoes such as sneakers
• No fanny packs, backpacks, handbags - all items to be carried must be in pockets
• Helmets are required and will be provided.

When reserving, please tell us if you plan to join the winetasting so that Garrod can prepare the correct amount of seating for us.
