Party at the Beach with Oysters

Join the Family Party at the Beach and Enjoy Local Oysters

October 6th, 2024  - 12:30 p.m.

Drakes Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes National Seashore has some of the most beautiful beach scenery in Northern California. For this event, the plan is to take over part of Drakes Beach in Point Reyes, where our chef will be serving local Tomales Bay Miyagi oysters on the half shell garnished with mignonette and fresh lemon, shucked right there on the beach. The oysters will sell for $2:50 each. You can also order some additional ones to take home ($2.25@). Unopened oysters are good for 2 to 3 days; so, bring a cooler with ice to keep it fresh.

To place your order, click HERE.

We will meet on Drakes Beach at 12:30 pm, next to the Drakes Beach Café. Park on the massive parking lot next to the café, make your way to the beach, and search for the Belgian Flag.

Please, place your oyster order by noon on Thursday October 3. Payment can be made by Paypal, credit card or Zelle. This is a members' event. For questions on membership, email philippe@bcnc.com.

Location: Drakes Beach, near Drakes Beach Rd, Inverness, CA. Click HERE for directions from San Francisco)

Point Reyes National Seashore is a vast expanse of protected coastline in Northern California's Marin County. On a rocky headland, the 1870 Point Reyes Lighthouse is a viewpoint for migrating gray whales. Beaches at Point Reyes include Drakes Beach. On a clear day, from Drakes Beach you can even see San Francisco!

Bring the kids for some fun at the beach! This is always a wonderful event to attend for all!
